The right process depends on where the information is stored. You do not need to send an Instagram password, card number, or government ID to make a request.
Clear a free scan from this device
Anonymous relationship baselines are stored in this browser so a later scan can calculate changes. Clear site data for followersignal.com in your browser to remove that device-local history. Clearing it cannot be undone and resets the comparison baseline on that device.
Delete a FollowerSignal account and saved reports
Use the feedback form, choose Privacy or account deletion request, and submit from the email used for the FollowerSignal account. If Guardian is active, cancel its next renewal from the billing portal first. We may use a sign-in link or another account-bound check to verify that the requester controls the account.
After verification, deletion covers the FollowerSignal profile, tracked Instagram username, saved scans, saved relationship rows, and product entitlement associated with the account. We aim to complete a verified deletion request within 30 days. Limited billing, fraud, security, or transaction records may be retained when required for legal compliance, disputes, or payment reconciliation.
Request review of public-profile information
If your public Instagram information appears in a saved FollowerSignal report and you want it reviewed, include the exact username, where you saw the information, and enough context to locate it. We may ask you to verify control of the Instagram profile. We can remove information from systems controlled by FollowerSignal when appropriate; we cannot delete the source profile or content from Instagram or another third-party platform.
Service-provider copies
Deletion from active FollowerSignal systems does not always remove a record immediately from provider backups, payment-provider records, security logs, or systems another provider must retain by law. Those copies remain access-restricted and expire under the relevant provider's retention process.
