How to see who doesn’t follow you back on Instagram

The quick answer

Instagram does not provide a built-in list called “not following back.” To create one, compare the accounts in Following with the accounts in Followers. Any username that appears only in Following is a one-way relationship at the time of the check.

What the result proves—and what it does not

The result is a current relationship snapshot. It can show that one account is not following another right now. It cannot prove that the person followed in the past, when a relationship changed, or why it changed.

That distinction matters because some apps label every one-way relationship an “unfollower.” Celebrities, brands, inactive accounts, and people who never followed you can all appear in a not-following-back list.
