Do I need to log in to Instagram?
No. FollowerSignal never asks for an Instagram password. It works only with information that is visible on public profiles.
What is the difference between an unfollower and a non-follower?
A non-follower is someone you follow who does not follow you back right now. An unfollower is someone who appeared in an earlier followers snapshot and disappeared from a later one.
Can FollowerSignal check a private account?
No. A password-free public-data tool cannot reliably analyze a private followers list.
Will the account know I checked it?
FollowerSignal does not sign in to Instagram or interact with the requested profile. It does not send a follow, like, view notification, or direct message.
Can I see who unfollowed before my first scan?
No. A first scan creates the baseline. A later scan can prove what changed, but a tool cannot reconstruct a change it never recorded.
How often does Guardian update?
The proposed Guardian plan creates one fresh comparison every seven days. It is scheduled tracking, not unlimited on-demand scanning.
